Dr. Mic will work to keep mental health records confidential for DC workers who receive mental health services, so long as those individuals do not pose a threat to society, or a danger to others.
Dr. Mic advocates for jobs and job training for our Mentally Challenged individuals , particularly those diagnosed with Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. This population must be allocated resources so that they may acclimate into society with dignity, and add to their own quality of life, and the workforce stability in the District.
Dr. Mic will sponsor legislation to supports more life skills training courses for our mentally challenged citizens so that they will be able to live independently in society and enjoy a great quality of life.
Too often , society seeks to stigmatize those seeking Mental Health services as "crazy and deranged." Dr. Mic believes that everyone can benefit from the services of a mental health "counselor" at some stage in our lives to cope with different situations in life, He supports measures that serve to support proper mental health for all citizens.
